The Blacksmith Shop is an industrial chic Wedding Venue in Macon, GA dedicated to providing quality event hosting services in Middle Georgia. Our venue combines all the best elements of a southern wedding venue — stunning architectural detail, a formal courtyard, and of course a rich southern history.
Located in historic downtown Macon, the building and grounds have been lovingly restored, preserving its original architectural integrity, including the original handmade bricks, heart pine beams, and arched entrances. The spacious Macon wedding venue boasts a perfectly landscaped courtyard, intimate loggia, bar area, and full catering kitchen – the perfect setting for your Georgia Wedding reception, or formal event.

Indoor Event hosting
The 10,000 sqft indoor venue is able to comfortably accommodate more than 200 guests for a seated dinner or 300 guest for a cocktail style reception.
This space allows for ample room for a dance floor, buffet and flexibility on the layout of your event .
The interior space is finished with original handmade brick, arched doorways, and heart pine beams. The iron wall sconces and added details allow the space to work for both classically styled and urban chic events.
The Courtyard
With wide paths, landscape lighting and water features the Courtyard at the Blacksmith Shop is perfect for a ceremony, wedding photos, cocktails, mingling, and of course, a show-stopping send off!
Bar Service Area
The Blacksmith Shop offers two Bar Service areas with refrigerated coolers and granite bar tops. The Blacksmith Shop offers our clients the flexibility of selecting your own bar service provider.
The Kitchen
The Blacksmith Shop is equipped with the finest quality complete catering kitchen in Middle Georgia.
The space is furnished with prep tables, 2 convection ovens, 3 conventional ovens, multiple burners, refrigerated coolers, ice machine and an automatic dishwasher.
The Bridal & Groom Suite
Couples holding their wedding ceremony at The Blacksmith Shop have access to our beautiful bridal and groom suite to complete final preparations for their big day.
Located adjacent to The Blacksmith Shop, the spaces provide the bride/ groom and their attendants can get dressed and make final preparations before the ceremony. The area includes a sitting room, vanity area, full length mirrors, and private restrooms.

Do you already have a date set? If so, please check the calendar for availability. In order to reserve a date for The Blacksmith Shop, we require a signed contract and a non-transferable, non-refundable deposit.
All booked dates on our calendar are secured with a deposit and a contract. If you see an open date please contact us!
