What is included in the rental of The Blacksmith Shop?

Rental of The Blacksmith Shop includes full private access to both the courtyard and the venue. We only book one event a day so that you have the luxury of all exclusive access to the space. Your rental also includes the use of the bar area, all of your tables and chairs, the full size catering kitchen and all equipment. Prior to the event our Hospitality Manager will meet with you and discuss the set up of the space and the placement of all tables and chairs which are also included in your rental.

May we select our own caterer?

The food that will be served at your event is a very important part of your special day and the staff at The Blacksmith Shop understands that. While we do have a referral list of wonderful caterers who have done many events at The Blacksmith Shop,  we also allow you the opportunity to introduce us to your own caterer. The only requirement that we have is that they be licensed by the health department and insured.

How long do we have The Blacksmith Shop for an event?

Rental of The Blacksmith Shop begins at 9:00 am on the date of your event. As a courtesy to downtown residents, we ask that all events at The Blacksmith Shop conclude by midnight. In some instances, if the space is available, limited access may be granted the day before a scheduled event.

Can you refer us to other vendors?

We have a wonderful opportunity to work with many of the best wedding and event professionals in Macon. We can certainly refer you to many area professionals who will do all they can to make your event a wonderful success.

What is the capacity for The Blacksmith Shop?

The Blacksmith Shop can accommodate up to 200 for a seated dinner or dinner buffet, with a dance floor. For most of our events clients choose to have a heavy hors d'oeuvre or cocktail style reception and up to 350 guests can be accommodated for such an event.
